Na Aana Is Des Laado is an Indian television series which premiered on March 9, 2009 on Colors. The story deals with the social evil, Female infanticide, and concentrates on the problems faced by women in a male-dominant world.Currently the show is going through rough patch . Due to average ratings this show is being shifted to afternoon slot and from 3rd October will air Monday to Friday 1:00pm.Surprisingly this show is doing excellent in afternoon slot by getting 1.5+ Trp.The show recently completed 700 episodes.Due to high popularity and on audeince demand this show is coming back to primetime slot at 11pm from 9th January 2012.

The story is about a girl Sia, who raises her voice against Ammaji the sarpanch of Veerpur. Sia takes a stance against Ammaji's atrocities and tries to make people of Veerpur aware about it. To quite Sia down, Ammaji gets her youngest son Raghav married to Sia. Then Sia who was in love with Raghav, finds out it was all a trick and even Raghav was in on that and they make her the servant of the house. She decides to stay at Ammaji's house to get revenge for the insults she suffered and also stop Ammaji's wrongdoings. Slowly, women from Ammaji's house begin to help Sia. Raghav frustrated by all the wrong around him seeks help from Sia and in turn falls in love with her and takes her as his wife. Sia along with Raghav help family members and villagers. Ammaji removes Sia and Raghav from her house. Sia stands against Ammaji to be Sarpanch and wins. Sia is pregnant, so Ammaji calls them back. But than Ammaji finds out that Sia is having twin daughters and tries to make her drop her babies, but doesn't succeed. Meanwhile Ammaji's old nemesis Bhanupratap comes back to take revenge on her. He attacks Ammaji's family and they have to flee, simultaneously Sia goes into labor and delivers the girls (being the first in Ammaji's Veerpur), but dies soon after. Raghav too dies because of Bhanupratap, but the girls survive.
The show takes a leap and concentrates on the Raghav and Sia's daughters Diya and Jhanvi, and Ammaji. Diya falls in love with Shaurya who turns out to be Bhanupratap's son. The two of them fight for their love and meet each other consistently despite Ammaji's consent that they cannot have any relationship between them. They pretend that Jhanvi is going to marry Shaurya when actually Diya and Shaurya run away together on the day of marriage. Ammaji is betrayed by her 2 sons Gajender and Joginder, and returns with the rest of the family back to Veerpur, where another man named Rana has taken over following the wrong Ammaji had used years ago, except he is more evil. It seems like Jhanvi's love story is taking shape but what about Diya? Nearly all viewers of Na Aana Iss Desh Laado are hoping that the couple Shaurya and Diya are going to be together once again after their long break up. However, since the entry of Inspector Vikram (Winy Tripathi) has occurred in the show, things seems quite uncertain. It is absolutely clear that most viewers of Na Aana Iss Desh Laado are totally against the fact that a married girl Diya, who has severely fought for her love is paired with another man.

Show incurred the ire of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda who sent a letter to the Government expressing his displeasure over the show. An official from Haryana CM’s office says, “The Chief Minister was receiving complains from the public regarding what was been shown in the show. It depicts the state in poor light. So based on those complaints, the Chief Minister wrote a letter to the Information & Broadcasting Ministry, who has now asked the channel to refrain from showing any such objectionable content.” Responding to the complaints, show's writers and directors decided to stop the usage of haryanvi language and also trim down the negativity shown and karen is the best .:p. ] ytugiuhnmjok,l;.'/
The fact that the show seems incomplete without Diya (Simran Kaur) and Shaurya (Varun Kapoor) being together has been pointed out by numerous viewers. Countless fans are disappointed that a new man may be entering and being involved with Diya's love life despite the fact that she is already married. The story of Shaurya has not been concluded properly as yet. He is just "missing" from the show. Viewers are hoping that Shaurya is not just going to disappear like Sheela (Sister-in-law of Ammajiwho used to live in Ammaji's house with Santosh in both Veerpur [before the time leap] and Delhi {after the time leap}). Numerous fans will be extremely disappointed if the couple are not shown together once again. Shaurya and Diya amaze many viewers of Na Aana Iss Desh Laado however we just have to keep on watching as Diya's love story hopefully takes shape with Shaurya.

On one side is Diya's adhoori love story however, on the other side with Jhanvi, it seems like love is in the air laado. It seems as if Jhanvi and Surya are unwantingly falling in love with each other. It has been shown in previous episodes of Laado that Jhanvi and Surya seems to get weak in front of each other. Surya forgets his morals that woman are useless and unwanted and Jhanvi forgets her mission to gain revenge from Rana and his whole family. However, will the couple ever be able to get together living under Rana's hatred of woman, Surya's personal morals that woman cannot be accepted in the society and Param's constant eye on Jhanvi? It has been shown in previous episodes of Laado that Param is constantly trying to spend a night with Jhanvi and Surya has saved his wife from Param trying to rape her. However Jhanvi is constantly repeating the fact to Surya that Jhanvi had been drugged while marrying Param and Kuldeep. She highlights that she was only fully conscious whilst marrying Surya and therefore she will only accept him as her husband.
